Phosphor Powder Rare Earth Recovery

Phosphor Powder is contained in lighting waste and may or may not represents a significant source of rare earth elements (REE) and critical metals (CM). Rare Earths Yttrium (Y) and Europium (Eu) may be recovered from linear fluorescent fixtures and CM (Gallium) from linear LED fixtures. Cerium (Ce), Lanthanum (La) and Terbium (Tb) are also used in the phosphors for fluorescent lamps (FLs).
